Flying Changes LLC provides select sales on a limited basis for law enforcement agencies. Horses that do not meet final program criteria for any reason may be offered here for sale to the public, and all information is fully disclosed. Please reach out if you would like information on any horse listed below.

Our program is designed to produce horses suitable for operational use, with an emphasis on soundness, reliability, and consistent performance.

Mounted patrol candidates are carefully evaluated over a long period of time for temperament, physical suitability, and long-term service potential. Training follows a structured, progressive framework focused on controlled responsiveness, environmental exposure, and composure under variable and high-distraction conditions. Each horse is developed individually and without time constraints to ensure appropriate readiness for patrol duties.

Horses made available for sale below represent a small, carefully selected group at varying stages of mounted patrol preparation. We are not a sales barn and take pride in producing a small number of high quality mounted patrol candidates that have been thoroughly tested over time to ensure suitability and reliability. We provide clear documentation and transparent communication at all times.

Flying Changes operates from a private, controlled facility that provides consistent training standards and professional horse management. This setting allows for focused development and dependable preparation for each individual horse.

Availability is limited. Inquiries from law enforcement agencies or private individuals are welcome.

Knight

Knight is a stunning 19hh, six year old registered Percheron gelding. Massive and strong, Knight has an enormous presence but is perhaps one the most calm and gentle horses to ever walk through the barn. He is very easy to handle and work around for even the most inexperienced person. Knight is easy going both on the ground and under saddle, and will pack around even the most timid rider. He is extremely friendly and thrives on attention. He  has a solid work ethic and waits at the paddock gate all day to come out and work

Knight has three quality gaits, is easy to maneuver, and is soft and responsive in the bridle. He rides alone or in groups and is not herd bound.

Knight has been exposed to environmental stimuli including flares, sires, gunfire and traffic. In the arena, he will go over or through any obstacle and is not phased by tarps, balls, flags or balloons. He has a solid ground tie.

Knight has a recent PPE and xrays. He is sound with no limitations, no previous injuries, is free of blemishes and is currently barefoot. He is excellent for the farrier and has never been in stocks. Knight has no vices, loads easily in a regular trailer, and stands tied. He stalls well and can turn out with others or alone.

This a very unique horse with a solid foundation.

He is currently in training and available.

Sandman

Sandman a 7 year old, 17hh draft cross gelding. He has spent close to a year here at Flying Changes learning correct basics and gaining a solid foundation. He has been exposed to many obstacles in the arena including dragging objects, bridges, tarps, flags and balls. He rides with a flag. will go through/over/under anything presented, and is easy to train.

Sandman is a naturally willing, calm, confident gelding that wants to please his rider. He is an exceptional horse with the temperament, trainability, reliability and work ethic to be an ideal long term investment for any unit. He currently is not suitable for beginners and still relies on his rider to guide him when he is uncertain about a question that is being asked.

Sandman is very easy to handle, stalls well, and has no vices. He reliably ground ties, is not reactive, loads, bathes, clips and is good with his feet.

Sandman is sound with no limitations, no blemishes and no prior injuries. He is currently barefoot with excellent feet.
